Bouand Dance Company: This excellent but often under-the-radar company’s performances this weekend feature work from outside sources: Davy Brun’s “Curse,” Erica Trivett’s “Echo” and Deanna Carter’s “Within … .” The centerpiece, however, is “Side Show.” First staged in 2007, it’s an emotionally taut contemporary work inspired by the globe-skipping chamber folk music of 3 Leg Torso and psychological/narrative threads suggested by the Ray Bradbury novella “Something Wicked This Way Comes.”
